Buyers forget you before they ever get in touch
Before buyers read a word about your product, your logo, colours and tone have already told them something about you.
You blend in. You use the same colours and promises as others in your category, so buyers can't tell you apart.
It doesn't say what you do. Buyers have to work out what you sell and who it's for on their own.
Every channel looks different. Without clear rules, each designer and each new hire makes their own version.
You look smaller than you are. Larger prospects compare you with established competitors, and the brand doesn't hold up next to theirs.

Every part of your brand starts from your positioning
We agree on who you sell to and why they should pick you, and every word and visual after that builds on it.
Your messaging says why you.
Headlines and key messages come straight from your positioning, in words your buyers already use.
The look carries the same message.
Colours, type and imagery get chosen to back up what the words say.
One team keeps it in line.
The people writing and designing your brand work from the same brief, so the words and the look match.
New work has a clear reference.
Every future page, deck or campaign can be checked against the same positioning.
Four things your new brand does for you

A few pieces we have written on this
If you want to understand the process before you speak to anyone, these three cover most of what comes up.
What marketers ask before working on their brand
It depends on how well buyers already know you and whether your positioning has changed. If people recognise you and your message still holds, refreshing the look keeps what they already know, and if you now sell something different to different buyers, it usually takes a new brand. The Discovery Workshop is where we work out which one fits.
Four to six weeks is the usual range, and how much work the brand needs is what moves it. You get a dated timeline in the scope before anything starts.
The brand comes first, since the website is built from its positioning, messaging and look. If you need both, they can run as one project, with the site starting once the brand is agreed.
No, as long as the SEO side is planned together with the brand. If your name or domain changes, every old URL gets redirected to its new page, and your pages mention the old name for a while so people searching for it still find you.
Your company owns all of it once the project is paid, including the rights to the logo and the editable source files.
It depends on how much work the brand needs and how many languages the messaging has to cover. We go through it on a first call, share a short questionnaire so nothing gets missed, and price the project from there.
