Turning complex engineering into an interactive experience
CDS is a French engineering software company. Their platform, Cognitive Design, uses AI and generative design to help aerospace, automotive, and defense companies build high-performance parts faster.
After a brand refresh, CDS needed a website that matched their new identity - and could explain deeply technical capabilities without losing clarity. Their old Wix site couldn't do either.

The Challenge
- The old website was built on Wix - limited in design flexibility and unable to showcase the depth of CDS's platform capabilities.
- CDS's technology is highly specialized - implicit geometry engines, topology optimization, manufacturing-driven design - and needed to be presented in a way that technical buyers could understand at a glance.
- A standard website with static screenshots wouldn't do justice to a product that is fundamentally about transforming 3D engineering workflows.
- Existing content - including blog posts and resources - needed to be migrated from Wix without losing anything.
- All URLs needed to be properly mapped and redirected to preserve existing SEO value through the platform migration.

The Solution
- We ran a structured process - from UX research and site architecture to post-launch monitoring.
- 25+ pages were designed and built in Webflow.
- Copy was written from scratch translating complex engineering concepts into clear messaging for a technical B2B audience.
- Custom interactive elements were built to showcase the platform's capabilities.
- A custom interactive workflow illustration was developed that simulates how the software actually works.
- An embedded 3D model letting visitors inspect parts from every angle directly on the page.
- Existing content was migrated from Wix into Webflow's CMS, with full URL mapping & redirect strategy.
- SEO and GEO were optimized from day one of the new website.

The result
- Organic clicks increased by 37% and impressions grew 4.3x compared to the same period the year before.
- CDS's marketing team now has full control to update content, publish news, and launch new pages independently.
- Complex engineering capabilities are now communicated through interactive experiences - not static diagrams - giving visitors an immediate understanding of the platform's value.
- CDS came in with a technically complex product and tight timeline. Eight weeks later their marketing team operates their website independently & the partnership has continued beyond launch.
